There is a page on ebay claiming that Kate Stelnick finished the 15 pound “Belly Buster” burger in addition to completing the 11 pound 96er. I have no idea why this page was placed on ebay since there is no associated merchandise for auction.

People attending the YMCA Pancakes Days contest in Evansville, IN might want to avoid any contest afterparties put on by the local competitors. CourierPress.com reports that the contest was won by a sex offender who failed to register (the failure is attributed to a government computer mixup.) The winner was victorious for the fourth year in a row. The man he tied with in his first win in 2004 is charged with a stabbing death.

Megamunch reports that Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub will hold a 2 pound burger eating contest after the new world’s largest burger is unveiled on Saturday. The burger is free to competitors. (This is probably the only way to receive a 2lb burger without paying for it as people who finish it in an hour only get a 50% discount.)
The blog entry lists the 2 lb record at 36 minutes, but I believe that is Lori Weiss’ record for the 3 lb. burger. Megamunch’s picture of the 2 lb finishers plaque reports that Andy Pentz ate the 2lb burger in 23 minutes on New Year Eve 2005.

update From a comment below by Brian Seiken
My big mouth and big pen screwed up. Juliet made no mention of wanting to take over Kobe Joey or Sonya’s spot. I was overinflating the actual truth. It was more like she would love to have the chance to compete against him one day and give it her best. I apologize for making it seem like she was coming to invade territory.

A blog entry in Japanese compares Windows Vista’s hardware requirements to Natsuko “Gal” Sone’s caloric needs:
With special care, although it was times when the machine cuts 100,000 Yen don’t you think? -. Being cheap even in remainder, therefore the extent where the management of DELL becomes strange, it seems that “gluttony like the gal 曽 root” becomes necessary as a Messiah of the personal computer manufacturer. The [ro] which is 4GHz -, the [ro] which is 6GHz -, being unconcerned, unless it is the extent which eats up with it probably is “the gluttonous talent being disqualified” [tsu] lever.
