I overheard Seiken talking to Rich Shea about the possibility of an old timers day contest at Nathans bringing back Lerman Jarvis Krazy Kev Seiken and Hardy . Booker and Conti would have been included but they are still active and will probably compete until they are either spoon fed or too old or unable to compete at all

Wayne had no intention of competing . He showed up with his camera to root on his boy Carmen . It was Brian Seiken and Carmen that put in a good word for him with Randy the Nathans guy and that is how he got the spot. Even when they ok’d him he was still pondering whether he should compete or not because he didnt want conflict with APE.

Wayne came to support me (newsflash: we’re friends) and was asked if he wanted to compete (if you think Rich Shea keeps a mental log of APE eaters then well I have bad news for you)…would MLE ever have let him compete through the usual registration form? Nope… anyway I pushed him into it because I wanted to beat him 🙂 he came in cold without any prep for dogs, nevermind the fact he came in not expecting to compete at all (what APE member would expect to walk into a Nathan’s qualifier?) and put up 27. Some of you lamebrains still believe that the Sheas visit this site on a frequent basis or keep tabs on independent eaters or APE eaters so they dont try to sneak into events. Rich Shea has no idea who Wayne is nor does he care. Back in the day when Chapman was running the show MLE sort of kept an eye on their rival leagues but now that the APE organization is practically defunct it is highly doubtful they care anymore. Nor do they give a rats ass if their members competed in non sanctioned eating challenges . If that were the case they would tell Daniella to take a hike because she came in first in a contest last month which was not sanctioned by MLE . The only time Sheas might take notice is when they get heads up from a hater or two about their members violating the contract or a rival league members intention of sneaking into a MLE contest . In Wayne case it was a last minute thing

All Pro does not prevent its members from participating in events not sanctioned by All Pro. It was up to MLE to keep Wayne out if they chose to do so. Clearly, they knew who he was and allowed him to participate.

Here is what probably transpired George must have slammed down the morning newspaper and gave younger brother Rich a tongue lashing for allowing Seiken and Alesio to compete. Remember Rich is the boss so Barklay cant say shit to him . Something tells me allowing Seiken and Alesio to compete did not sit well with the powers that be. Keep believing that, it’s your opinion. I believe he signs with APE, he should represent APE. If he wants to do MLE stuff, sign with MLE. A man honors his agreement. The fact that he asked for permission, regardless of if it was needed or not, indicates that he knew there was a conflict of interest. You wanna go play lawyer with rules and everything, go nuts. I couldn’t care less what their site says. He looks like a punk trying to win wherever and whenever he can.

LOL. That All Pro site still has stuff from the mid-2000’s, like the NATIONAL COLLEGIATE COMPETITIVE EATING ASSOCIATION. Todd is a joke and should not be running that organization. It went from dozens of contests a year to 1 or 2 under Todd. All Pro and their eaters are second class.

Speaking of Wayne, his prodigee, Killer Kennedy, has released Season 1 and Episode 1 of “Carbs of Comparison”, hosted by the Carbo Cutie. In this inaugural episode, she compares regular Oreo cookies with Weiss private-label Dips cookies (similar to Oreos). In the end, she concludes the genuine Oreos are better since the packaging is more consumer friendly.

I vote to bring Wayne Algenio into MLE. His big bright smile alone lights up the entire room and would bring positive vibes to a rather negative organization.
