The Valdosta Daily Times has a report claiming that Megan Drake will receive a free trip to NYC for the finals.

    Reeves is an ok guy but he brags about himself way to much. He also inflates his prediction totals which rarely come true. I once heard him say yeah i think i can eat more wings than Sonya prior to the Buffalo contest and mentioned he could go past 30 hot dogs when we know his max is early 20’s

    Goldstein was one of the worst eaters ever to set foot on stage. Jarvis should have ripped up his phone number when Goldstein approached him at J&R steakhouse and pleaded if there was an opening in the organization

    Probably the worst NF qualifier contest ever. I can’t imagine how George was able to try and actually make those 10 minutes interesting. So boring…I’d want my 10 minutes back to see more zoo animals.

    I dreamed of Dan Kennedy last night (this is true). We were roommates, and he somehow clogged the tub and bathroom sink up with yellow water. He schmoozed members of my family downstairs with a fake good guy attitude (I don’t know if Dan is this way in real life, but I am just reporting what I dreamed) while I checked the bathroom upstairs. Then we out and he brought his moose (multiple) which he kept as livestock. The moose went with us to a shopping plaza and played in the snow, running then sliding on their bellies. Then one moose kept running and escaped into the woods next to the plaza. We went looking for it down a path in the woods, but it became dark and we realized we were in the wrong place since there was a fence separating us from where it ran. It was scary, and I kept thinking of the 3 AM challenge which is currently being done on YouTube. In the meantime an old farmer who owned the property helped us and ended up selling his off road vehicle to Killer Kennedy. It was ok since he rarely used it and had two or three other vehicles. Dan want to use the car for fun, to go off-roading. The farmer had his butler prep the car. I was worried we were talking to loud on the sidewalk late at night and would wake the neighbors.

    I think the reason I dreamed of an old man was I had just watched multiple videos of 60-year old women who were monetized on YouTube and employed advanced videograpghy techniques, like vlogging in their car while driving, similar to what Nate Figueroa does.

    This contest was a joke. If you watch the video, basically of the eaters had stopped with 0:30 to a minute left. 1st and 2nd places were already clearly decided, and the rest ate like 4 or 5 HDB each. Richard Shea(?) was just ok on the microphone and it was pouring rain. At least George Shea can rap. And the music was too low. 2.75 HDB is a new all-time low for a female.

    The funny thing is I don’t CLC could have won this contest, no disrespect intended. 19 HDB will not cut it in this day and age. This is not the 2010 anymore.

    MLE will not be coming back. The contest was a disaster. Part of the reason the contest was so bad was because the amusement park to chose two of the contestants itself via its social media pages. I read this somewhere on its facebook (can’t find it now). That’s why the contests sucked. 4 HDB for some of the men? Not even worth reporting.

    But then again, if there are willing to pay money, maybe MLE will agree to sanction it again.

    Hmmm…but would Steve have even qualified against Reeves, especially since there is no wild card this year? Dee probably would have qualified, but would she have gotten the magical number of 10?

    Interesting dream above about Conundrum Candace. If I were to have a dream about him it would most likely involve him frolicking through a field of mediocre McDonalds sandwiches taking selfies while laughing like a girl. In the second half he would be filling his personal Carbo Pukey pool with vomit while intermittently flexing and yelling peeps.

    the contest stopped being fun when they stopped holding qualifiers in LI and NJ malls . At one time back in 1999 they had 4 qualifiers in NJ The hot dogs tasted better back then because they were grilled to perfection. Nowadays the hot dogs are grilled maybe 30 seconds on the grill the day before the contest end up eating raw pig intestines

    Who is that supposedly super smart person that used to be with IFOCE? A Mensa member and friend of Brian Seiken? Wasn’t there some kind of buffet story? Was that Juris Shabayama? Of course, lots of people who are competitive esters are super intelligent, but just don’t mention it.

    Seiken was not friends with Leon Feingold in the sense that they were close. They knew one another through competitive eating and that was it. There was a buffet meet up with Crazy Legs Nate Biller Seiken and Leon on Veterans day 2008 . Leon Feingold is an extremely bright articulate man . You can liken him to the late JFK Jr with his passion of exploring new ventures . Only difference is that i doubt he would fly a plane in turbulent weather with another passenger on board with less than 300 hrs of flight training. I think you know the rest of the story

    Edison Monmouth Mall
    Freehold Mall NJ
    Meadowlands NJ
    Molly Pitcher came later on Before the IFOCE came into being those were the primary qualifier locations along with Oceanside, and i think one in the Bronx NY There was also a qualifier for civil service members on the observation deck of the world trade center before 911

    Thanks OJ! I remember there was some story in the comments about Feingold going to a buffet with Seiken, and someone not tipping, not sure though. He was a little before my time. I think that Juris guy is a doctor.

    I did some research, and also found out Hall Hunt is a Mensa member too [assuming the poster was not joking].

    I think Naader Reda knows Cutter’s identity, as he met him in LV from what I remember in the comments, but he is otherwise anonymous.
