update April 16 Adrian Morgan reports no females competed. I think this is the first time there were no women in a Nathan’s qualifier since the women’s division was started in 2011.

There should be a list of eaters who ate more HDB than the lowest qualifier at the July 4 finals did. I know Steve Hendry was screwed over a few years ago, and Darron Breeden was screwed over last year.

betting on comp eating is for losers and for those that never bet anything. You want to make money take your ass down to a casino and play roulette poker blackjack, Play daily numbers for a $1 and watch it grown to 5k if you study patterns . Stop wasting gas and tolls traveling to eating contests while the Shea brothers make 5k or more at an event just for showing up and talking nonsense into the microphone and the only thing you get out of it is stale free meal and to mingle with a bunch of idiots with eating disorders . No this is not the Seiken guy everyone thinks it is when comments such as these are posted

@7:49 is Erik Lamkin planning to qualify? I thought I remembered him saying he doesn’t like hot dogs. Also, he might prefer to stay independent and compete along with his APE friends like Molly, Dave, and Bob.

Lamkin won’t attempt to qualify because he wouldn’t make it even if he tried. Erik’s only competed in one MLE contest at boysenberry pies, and he was penalized a lot for debris there and didn’t place. Ever notice how he only competes now at tacos and poutines where the judging sucks and he can get aways with a sh*t ton of debris?
