Thanks for mentioning me, OJ. I didn’t get much air time, but I deserve it. That was my worst preformance EVER. I’m glad I had Mike and Deb as teammates, they did great!! Hopefully, I’ll be able to redeem myself at the Pickle Eating Contest in May. That’s if they even let me in. I’m waiting to hear back from them.

My boyfriend’s best friend really thinks Tomoko’s a fox. The other night he came over for drinks (just to have an excuse to get drunk, actually), and we started talking about those Japanese female eaters.

Upon swigging a beer he let loose a long, watery belch, then said, “That Miyake woman makes me feel like a hammer!”

“A hammer? Why?” I inquired.

He took another healthy swig, staggered a few steps backwards, steadied himself, then blurted out, “Because I’d like to nail ‘er!”
