How could you possibly know that Aice eaters wouldn’t be allowed to eat in future Wing Bowls? Is Angelo slipping you the pickle?
The only people that didn’t want AICE eaters in Wing Bowl was you/Rhonda/George Shea.
The animosity created towards AICE was by your organization. In fact, you threated to pull Sonya in 2004 unless Chowhound and Menchetti were banned. Angelo could give a rat’s ass about aice or ifoce. In fact I am sure that 98 percent of the eaters could carel ess about ifoce/aice.
As far as OJ is concerned. I think even the dopiest IFOCE guys have come to agree it’s Ryan Nerz working for you.
He was using the OJ Rifken moniker way back in 2001 when he used to blog the sports pages in the Indy Star. Where he’s born and raised.

It’s appropriate that you pretend to be a woman, because you are truly the pickle eating champ.

I can really empathize with Angelo on that. I’m sure he feels torn in going that route, but then again, he never, ever expected what was originally conceived to be a local event to become the monstrous spectacle it is today.

I can foresee the possibility of having two events within 2 or 3 years: one for amateurs and another one for nonamateurs. Unfortunately, either way, the AICE-affiliated eaters will not be allowed to participate in either. If that’s the case I think it would be sad.
