Bubba my voice mail works i was having problems getting the voice mails a day later but its fixed. I left a message on your voice mail a little while after you called. Good luck to you and Paul in Perry . As for the protruding from Phenom & Eater X i think the both of them should be given bonus pts instead of deductions for eating 40 or more burgers PERIOD! . There are no more than maybe six or seven people on this planet that can eat 50 krystal burgers and we know who they are .

We all gathered in a huddle before the competition and told the rules by the Krystal guy (Tall bald guy that is at every contest). He stated that if it protruded that it wouldn’t be a problem to just “hold it up there” “with both hands if you had to” that you just had to get it down and they would wait. Chip is 100% correct the man told everybody that.

I would just like to say a word about the controversy so people can make up their own minds about what happened. Before the contest began a high ranking KRYSTAL official said that any food that we were able to hold near our mouth even if it was protruding would be allowed. You can ask Bubba, SuperPaul, Justin Mih or anyone else who was in that huddle. Both Eater X and I were aware of this rule and although it sounded a little strange we figured that since it was Krystal’s contest that the rule was legit. With about 5 seconds left to go both Eater X and I shoved about two sandwiches in our mouths with some protruding. I will be the first one to stand up and say that I had more protruding that X but he did legitimately have SOME not a lot but some protrding as well. George IMMEDIATELY told us to put the protruding stuff down and said that was Bull**** and that we knew the rules. He immediately deducted a sandwich from each of us but then gave X credit for another half of a sandwich so the totals 52.5 to 53. Again I just want to re-iterate the fact that I DID have more coming out but X did have some. I am not saying the call was right or wrong. I will leave that for everyone to make their own decision. X and I were just going by what we were told the rules were. That is how it happened and if anyone has anything they want to ask me about the contest I will go into more detail if that need be. Either way X and I pushed each other all the way to the end and I am happy that we will both be going to the finals. I wish we could cut the trophy in half and it I could I would. I will see everyone on Oct. 28th

Brian, I agree with you, and in Perry, I WILL hit 22 even if they put it in my obituary the next day!! Watch for drastic improvement from the 2 B’s- Bubba and Barlow!!

Thanks brian, I tried to call you immediately after the contest but I was kicked over to your voice mail and you told me that the voice mail doesn’t work. The whole contest from start to finish I felt like I was running in sand. I’ll have my ducks in a row at the perry qualifier. That embarrasment won’t happen to me again.

Bubba you ate 26 which is damn good. I always said if you can eat over 22 Krystals that separates the men from the boys. This is not a knock on the guys that ate in the teens but i have to tell the truth that if you are a teen eater in krystals you aint ready for the big time.
