Joey is B-O-R-I-N-G Look at the number of competitive eating contests from July 4th, 2007 (since he beat Koby for the first time ever), compared with the number of CE events the two or three years prior. Koby sells the sport. Joey sells Sominex. And with his continued and amplified knack of denigrating Koby, he’ll continue to sell less of the former and inspire more use of the latter.

This anamosity could be good for the sport. So far Joey has not been particularly marketable. Perhaps with a bit of controversy this will change.

Now, i think in saying “So, as I watch the hot dog contest on tv” I think he meant a recording of the live 2007 contest….. not that he’ll be watching this year
