    It was all for charity – he personally donated money to “Aurora Rises” (he chose this charity because his best friend was tragically killed at the Century 16 theater shooting in Aurora, CO on 7/20/12). Bryan was there not to officially compete, rather he was only there as an exhibition.

    Bryan Beard, you are absolutely awesome. I am so sorry for everyone’s loss, personally and for the country, but you have done something to commemorate your personal loss and something very positive for all. Thank you 11:48, I am sorry that I too have to be anonymous, but it is surely for the same reason. Some people are so negative that they seem to enjoy making their own contributions to life and others ones of misery right here on eatfeats. Let’s celebrate all Bryan Beards and those upstanding members of the competitive eating community.

    Really 3:12 am, you must just love that I have to respond to you, that has to be your pleasure, I cannot think of any other reason for you to be such a pimple. So let us repeat since you do not read or choose to be a jerk in the middle of the night, Bryan Beard is terrific. He did something for charity with PERMISSION, get some rest and give it a rest. Or perhaps you might consider doing something good for someone else.
