Someone claiming to be Jordan Lloyd, winner of the 11th season of CBS’ Big Brother, is listed as having finished the 72 ounce steak at the Big Texan in Amaraillo, TX on May 8. Jordan appears to be the first female 72 ounce steak finisher of 2012. Jordan’s boyfriend Jeff Schroeder, another Big Brother cast member, also finished a 72 ounce steak.

The Las Vegas Review Journal covered Rich LeFevre becoming the first person to finish the eight pound burger challenge at The Pub in the Monte Carlo in an article about southern Nevada eating challenges. The article mentions Naader Reda’s completion of the 12 pound nacho challenge at Cabo Wabo, but does not give his name.

Get Stuffed TV is a new series focusing on bizarre international contests that will debut July 3 on OLN. The program will record an attempt at the the chicken fried steak challenge at Wine Country Casino & Restaurant in Lodi, CA on Friday. The only finisher displayed on the challenge facebook gallery is an unnamed woman.

Jimmy John’s has been removed from the likes list on the MLE facebook page which probably implies that the sandwich makers vs. eaters series will not be returning in 2012. (Pepto Bismol remains on the like list despite reports that it has yet to extend its sponsorship deal for 2012.)
