Naader Reda has a three part series about the meals he ate with Stephanie Torres in the Las Vegas area (Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3) After Nevada, they attempted the following challenges in California: Cataldaldo’s 10 lb. team pizza challenge in Bakersfield, El Tortillon 9 lb. burrito in Fresno (only previous finisher Aubrey Koehn), Pho Kitchen challenge in Fresno and Big Mama’s & Papa’s 36 inch two person challenge (with two toppings).

Will Millender has posted a picture of the field for today’s cheese fries eating contest in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Naader Reda and Jessica “Queen of Cuisine” are last minute entries. Stephanie Torres is dressed appropriately for the National Spring Break Eating Championship. The contest received coverage on the front page of the local paper.

Andrew Lane has a blog entry about Stephanie Torres finishing the Govanator Challenge at Govnr's Park in Denver without assistance, which is usually attempted by two person teams. The estimated weight of the burger, bun, toppings & fries was 13.5 pounds, which Stephanie finished in 53 minutes. Andrew and Stephanie also won $300 by completing the Gut Buster Pizza at Fat Boys in Colorado Springs.

Stephanie Torres removed from IFOCE rankings, Andrew Kogutkiewicz enters

A commenter noted that Stephanie Torres has been removed from the #21 spot in the IFOCE top 50, apparently for competing in the non-IFOCE burger eating contests held at the Lone Butte Casino last month. Andrew Kogutkiewicz enters the rankings at #45. His latest competition was a victory at the non-IFOCE Sheboygan Brat Days contest where he won $500.

Brad Sciullo competed as Eric “The Herald” Durst in the non-IFOCE Bartolini’s meatball eating contest in 2008 and was allowed to remain in the organization and win the San Gennaro cannoli eating contest. (He was later ejected for completing Denny’s Beer Barrel Belly Buster challenge burger. )
