GWDToday reports that Dale Boone won the hot dog eating contest at the Festival of Discovery in Greenwood, SC by eating 25 hot dogs in 12 minutes. Boone says "From what I have heard Kobayashi is in talks with WLOCE to join them".

    What a disaster! This doesn’t sound right.

    What kind of “talks”? How much money could WLOCE give him?

    The only people he needs to be in “talks” with are sports/talent agents. Sign up for an agent and then let them do the “talks.” It costs nothing to retain an agent (although you have to convince them that you will have enough appeal to interest clients in working with you).

    And according to this, the WLOCE contract has the same offending clauses in it as the IFOCE contract, including the endorsement limits and the 20 percent agent fee. In fact, it’s apparently a copy of the IFOCE contract:

    Kobayashi could expand his “United Food Fighters Organization” from Japan to the U.S. I don’t know how bogus and inactive the UFFO is in Japan, but it’s probably not any more so than the WLOCE in the U.S.

    enter the WLOCE then Dale Boone would not be the “World” champion, as he so loosely puts it. Kobayashi should start his own competitive eating organization called the Universe’s League Of Competitive Eating. Then he would be the champion of the UNIVERSE!!! WOOOOHAHAHAHAHAA!! Besides I think he would want more than $500.00 for a 1st place prize. Brrrrrt…WLOCE.

    The rules of Boone’s “organization” state that Boone is ALWAYS the “World Champion”.
