Naader Reda has the top 3 of the professional division of today’s Farrell’s Splendiferously Superiffic Summer Spectacular Ice Cream Eating Championship in Brea, CA

1) Damon Wells (reported time 6:02)
2) Naader Reda 7:17
3) Ron Koch

Naader produced a promotional video for the contest

    Ron Koch, Rich LeFevre, Jamie McDonald. I’m seeing alot of mass confusion here because these 3 do a little bit of everything and the Sheas don’t care. Inconsistant fairness.

    Farrell’s was to benefit Choc and Make a wish, both children related charities. Ron came out from Vegas twice and donated $40 to compete and support our charities.

    FYI if Ron won, he was going to donate his entire winnings to Make a Wish foundation. Not exactly a dick move, so you haters need to relax.

    Congrats to everyone that beat me in this contest. I think this is the last ice cream contest I’ll do. My body just can’t handle this type of food in large amounts. I don’t know how y’all do it! Not that everybody didn’t feel like ass afterwards 🙂

    This was a fun and difficult contest. The entire roster was impressive (Damon, myself, Ron, Kevin, Matt Cohen, Shawn Kirby, Frank Paulin). We had room for an 8th onstage but no takers. Jimmy Lin or Johnnie Excel would have made this contest a real tight race at the top. Glad to see you again Ron, maybe next time I’ll come watch you at a contest in Vegas. You gave us all a hard push.

    Next year will be even more intense. I’m looking to finally best Damon in a contest. We both started our contest experience at a small burger contest in Long Beach back in 2009 (?) and we’ve all come a long way since then.

    My real time was 7:47 still finised third ,choked on coffee but had a great time with Kevin, Damon, Naader and Shaun..The judges and announcers kept on getting me and Shaun confused..They still dont know my real name.
