For those that voted for Vince McMahaon to run a new eating group. Let me advise you that if you sign with him, you will sign away all your rights to your name, image, likeness and many other things. Not just while you are with him but after you leave, he will still own a piece of you.

Take it from someone on the inside. I have many friends who are kicking themselves now for the big money contracts they signed and now they pay a fee whenever they work away from the WWE.

How does don lehrman, cookie Jarvass or any oher person have the ability to run a CE organization? Just because someone can put a bunch of food in thier pie hole does not mean they have the multitude of skills required to run an organization. Even if you have the personality and organizational skills it still takes several years of networking and hard work to make it happen. Beside, any IFOCE member attempting to start an organization will be deleted from thier memory banks of IFOCE; a fate worse than death for some of these media obsessed old school eaters.

I think Lerman should go ahead with his plan if it is indeed an eating organization. We all know that he cant put something like this together unless Ed Jarvis has a say in this. Rumor has it that Boone is starting his own organization in the next month or so.

Oh, one other comment: if there were a Don Lerman Eating Association (or any other eater), the most appropriate acronym would be LEAD, to coincide with the great weight with which the go nowhere organization would be immobilized. (:

To really sell this thing you have to get somebody that the public can associate with. He or she doesn’t necessarily have to be liked, but they have to be able to elicit attention. I wish I could vote for four. My choices would be (in this order):

1. Oprah (She can give / raise large sums of money to / for hunger-related causes while still promoting CE.).
2. Donald Trump (He knows how to make a buck.)
3. Steve Jobs (The turn-around specialist.)
4. Jerry Jones (I can’t stand him, but the man is a winner.)

Note: Vince McMahon would be one of my last choices, thinking back to the “doomed from the start” XFL that he tried to institute.

Also, I like Kevin, Cookie, Moses, and others eaters of near-legendary status, but let’s face it, not many people know who the hell they are. If folks barely know Koby, Sonya, Crazy Legs, Joey, and Pat, they surely will be clueless about anyone else.
