CapitalNews9 has a video of Erin Connolly covering and eating french fries in yesterday’s steerburger contest in Albany. Ms. Connolly claims to be the niece of 1996 Nathan’s champion Ed Krachie. Nicklaus Schultz won the contest by eating 7 steerburgers in 20 minutes.

If you are a facebook friend of Ed Krachie its obvious he wants little to do with competitive eating any longer. He wont delete posts from others relating to the sport but he does not comment on them. Its a part of his life he more than likely wants to put behind him. He has stated in the past that he never considered himself a competitive eater . He had fun with Nathans and that was that. All around good guy
