"Furious" Pete Czerwinski has posted a video of him eating Big Jud's one pound burger and fries in 2:34 at the Bodybuidling.com expo in Boise, breaking the 15 year old mark of 3:41.

    I’m glad Pete had an opportunity to eat with the best at least once. Now he has a better frame of reference for greatness in competitive eating.

    Here’s where I grudgingly respect the guy. Pete saw a way to make money and gain a following utilizing what mediocre talent he has. If a guy like Bickel would have followed Pete’s model and strung out his run with local media by avoiding having to eat against any top eater, Bickel would be making money doing set up events in Cleveland instead of his career focusing on if you would like a side salad with your meal at Applebees. Now Bickel’s cred is shot and Pete’s still doing his thing.

    I’m now expecting those posting negative comments to provide links to their eating videos, showing us all how you can beat the guy with your own feats. Or are your mouths just for big talk, and not big eating?
