About a year after Bill "El Wingador" Simmons was arrested for narcotics distribution, another Wing Bowl veteran has made news away from the contest table. Philly.com reports that celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman wanted to fight "Gentleman" Jerry Coughlan at the Columbus Club. On twitter, Damon Feldman incorrectly claimed that Coughlan was a Wing Bowl champion, but he was the top local in 2007. (Bill "El Wingador" Simmons faced off against pro wrestler Brutus Beefcake in a 2009 celebrity boxing match after Jose Canseco withdrew.)
