Last year’s totals are in 12 oz halfs. Those totals you see above include both halfs. So Adrian actually ate 18 using last year’s measuring units, Joey ate 30, Michelle 15, etc….

Is that verified. Wu doesn’t like these numbers. She would refuse to eat.

Do the math, Josh! A person doesn’t have to be a genius to see how absurd your claim is. Mary Bowers couldn’t even drink 72oz of water. You’re trying to convince us that you ate over 11lbs of burritos? Get real.

    (3×24)/16 = 4.5lbs, not sure where you got 11?

Why don’t we just refer to IFOCE as International federation of chestnut eating. Its been that way for nearly 10 yrs anyway

Where do you get the 3? This says 7.5!

Wu. Your feet don’t fit your shoes anymore. Don’t try to be the brown cow in the trough. Know when to say when. Farmers market is calling.

@10:32 Josh is obviously using Mary’s total to explain the logic, seeing how you questioned both in a previous post. Apparently your ignorance makes you blind as well

Who is ignorant, Juan? Previous poster was referring to how ridiculous his claim was that each burrito was 24oz which would make HIS total weight of burritos eaten 11lbs 4oz.

I guess I misread the statement and didn’t understand the part about how Mary not being able to drink more than 72oz of water implies I can’t eat more than 11 lbs of burritos. Eating 11 lbs if burritos in 10 minutes isn’t a ridiculous claim if you actually put forth an effort. I’m sure you could do it with proper training and preparation. I believe in you.

It’s not ridiculous if Matt, Joey (who ate around 10lbs in this contest), Molly or Kobayashi did it. It IS ridiculous for you or Juan to think you are even in the same stratosphere as they are.

I realize I’m discussing this with someone who doesn’t have a clue what’s realistick in competitive eating. Joey’s total for this contest was in the 20lb range. Matt and Molly haven’t done a 10 minute burrito eating contest, I don’t think Kobayashi has either, so you don’t have any totals to use as comparables. I’m not claiming to be in their league when it comes to capacity but saying it’s 10 lbs is pretty laughable. If you think 10 lbs is an elite level then you don’t have a clue.
