Like him or not, Joey is the face of competitive eating. He was as charming as ever this morning & as an ambassador for the sport(?), you couldn’t pick anyone better, because he is so likable & an honestly sweet person.

I actually really want to see this. I’m hoping that it is put on Netflix or YouTube for those of us who can’t be at the festival.

Getting screened in film festivals is prestigious and brings in money when the film goes to DVD after airing on places like the Discovery Channel etc. Zen of CE still available to buy on Amazon. You are ill informed and do not know or have any idea how much the actors and directors were paid and you never will.

Grim truth is conti took a bath with his movie and barely broke even Major league rivalry flick suffered same result or much worse Sheas released it on DVD because they couldnt get a taker for the movie. Ended up in the shitpile like the rest of their pprojects

Most of those competitive eating movies end up on some obscure website for free public viewing

If the competitive eating films are free on the internet, then the link is illegal. They are all copyrighted.

It was just that one film Major League Rivalries which was available on the net for free for years after its release in 2006. Maybe if you do an extensive search you might find it . However the producer of the film by independent film maker John Wellington Ennis might have had some legal issues with the film recently because it seems the movie is not even listed in his resume or credits any longer . The movie bombed on netflix as it was never released on the big screen. At first the Shea brothers were very excited about the launching of the movie and considered it a ground breaking project . George Shea narrated the film It featured Dale Boone vs Tim Janus Beautifulbrian vs Krazy Kevin Ed Jarvis vs Sonya Thomas
