Joey said man up. Kobi did man up remember when he slaughtered you in the last Krystal burger championship. I watched the video and Joey looks disappointed, pissed & in a state of shock and disbelief. Kobi also maned up on the 4th and took your world record away in hot dogs. Kobi would beat you again tomorrow but unlike you he chooses not to bow down to the sheas. Really competitive eating sucks without you two going up it against each other!! Joey should lobby to have Kobi sign a one contest contract so he can at least do Nathans. That my friend would be maning up.

Kobi’s free alright. He chose not to compete and chickened out when it came to Nathan’s. Nathan’s and MLE did everything they could to accomodate him, short of allowing him to eat a another competitor’s product for his own selfish gain to the detriment of the sponsor and league. Manning up is not blaming others for you’re own selfish choices my friend. Manning up is not selfishly staging a fake eating rooftop “demonstration” on the same day as the event that put you on the world stage. Manning up is not getting arrested for trying to disrupt an American 4th of July tradition. Yeah, Kobi beat Joey the last time they ate Krystals, and Joey beat him consecutively in hotdogs and won tons, so what? Kobi’s fading into clownishness, eating against crappy eaters at carnivals, while Joey will be on ESPN July 4th. Kobi needs to man up and live with that. One contest contract? Are you so naive and know so little about competitive eating to believe that possible? I just hope you’re not giving Kobi advice. Kobi should man up and live with the bad choices he made himself. He’s the one who banned himself from Nathan’s be a man and admit it and maybe even appologize for being so disloyal to sponsors, the MLE, fans, and everyone but his self-centered ego.

If ya think about it, joey retires, he then wouold be free to challenge Kobi and the money would go to the independent side.
