OJ, I don’t believe it was Levi Oliver. On the ifoce page 4th went to

Happy valley local, Levi ‘don’t call me Oliver Nelson,’

Levi Nelson. Levi Oliver lives in TX? And there is a local university student by that name there.

Lerman hardy & feingold represented the yankees jarvis kevin & phil lipper were the diamondbacks. I will try to post it today or tommorow . Also on the video were Joe torre, Curtis sliwa Guilliani , derek jeter (i think) and a few other yankee players . I was invited but i called back too late. No PC communication back then. One thing I have realized about B Brian Seiken. While he is very fast to applaud other eaters on their accomplishments, which is very admirable, he expects many accolades in return. Somehow he perceives that he is not only a top eater, but also that whatever he gives others, in the way of recognition, he deserves two or three fold in return. I am torn on whether he is very giving or very selfish. Honestly, if he were to go away completely, I doubt too many people would miss him. Though nice people like Humble Bob and others would humor him, so that he doesn’t feel hurt.

As a test, just wait and see what he posts in the coming weeks after this posting and you’ll see what I mean.

I have to stay off of these boards as this kind of stuff just boggles my mind. Beautiful Brian is a competitive eating friend of mine. Do I hang out with him outside of contests – no as we are too far away from each other. Do I hang out with my non CE friends – not in a long time as I am away every weekend. BB is a good guy. I don’t care if you like him or if you don’t as that is your opinion. I know that I do like him. He is a great guy and has always been nothing but nice to me. I think that if you get to know him, you would like him too. I am not here to shout his praises but I do want people to know that my interactions with him are not for the reasons that were listed above.

Luther i personally think that you are two faced individual and after that post i have little respect for you . Ive seen you kiss my ass on this site praising my commentary(look back on archives) and then you turn around and say something retarded or negative about me like the comment you just made. But you know what? You like anyone else is entitled to their opinion. I dont have to agree with it do i? Personally i dont give a sh– what you or anyone else thinks about me. Have i ever said i was a great eater? Have i ever boldy predicted i can whip this eater or that eater? On the contrary i think i have been quite humble as far as my eating abilities as being less than subpar of late. This is why i stepped away from the table temporarily to try to make eating adjusments.I can walk away from my website , the show etc doesnt matter to me one way or another. If you dont like what i write then dont go on my site. You fail to remember its “free” I dont even sell shirts on my site. How would you like it if i started asking for a montly fee to access the site. You wouldnt like it. It would clearly separate the freeloaders from the loyal fans. The vain selfish ego trip is part of my act and the people with little sense of humor or not familiar with my “shtick” percieve me as an “asshole”. Sure i could come off like a mister rogers “Hey everyone, great contest yesterday. good job by chip . great eating by joey erik, bob etc i just love the outstanding competitiion. Cant wait to see them compete again”. Now how does that sound? Sounds like a real ass kissing phoney to me. Do you want me to rearrange my site & commentary to cater to your needs? I dont think the thousands that flock to the site would like that especially if i told them Luther suggested that. They would prob chase you off this board. Thats no problem because you can easily go under another assumed alias. Ask Don Lerman ask Ed Jarvis, Ask Rhonda , Humble Bob Krazy kev a Crazy legs, Ray the bison, shredder the list goes on. It appears to be you and a very select few (aice) that have issues with my commentary . I suggest Mr Luther (which i know is not your name) that you take a poll “Should BB stop being vain and make his website more family friendly” I would be quite curious to see the final tally. By the way i doubt i will ever respond to your comments again whether it be an ass kissing one or negative.

BB is very honest in his opinions and doesn’t really care what detractors think. I may not always agree with his views but I respect them and applaud him for the thankless job he is doing. He is entitled to discuss anything he wants on his site and if anyone is offended they don’t have to visit. Besides, most of the people who read his comments are intelligent enough to form their own opinions as to whether they agree or disagree with what he says and why. I have been both criticized and praised on his site but I don’t think he has ever been untrue to himself. As for Luther’s comments, I would miss him and most everyone else would as well. He may not take his hat off to me but I would take mine off to him (if I wore one).

Brian apparently I hit a nerve. I perhaps was wrong to use this forum to bring it up in, but that’s what this sight is partly about. If your schtick is to confuse everybody and come across as someone with multiple personalities then you have succeeded because your messages and your tone are very mixed.

For example, the Way Back Home piece you put together was one of the finest contributions to the legendary old school eaters that I could imagine anyone doing. It was really nice. And I thought it was from the goodness of your heart. And I was proud to be a B Brian fan. But when I read your last few sentences of your recent comments regarding it, you seem to resent the fact that either not enough people are thanking you or that the gratitude is not intense enough.

That’s what I felt when I read, “I would think ‘Way back home’ would get some sort of mention but you know what. who cares! Life goes on.” What kind of a deal is that? That spoils the really nice things you DO do and that’s why I said what I did.

As a causal observer on the sidelines I always had the feeling that the VAST majority of people couldn’t hardly commend you enough on that piece. But you see it differently. Its as if once you do something nice for others you COMMAND a truckload of recognition (according to your standards) or you think you are not getting your just due.

Anyway that’s what I see. I still enjoy reading Bits and Pieces very much. And overall you are very much asset to competitive eating. (I know that you’ll be torqued at this last sentence because you have elevated yourself much, much higher.)

Let others do the elevating. It’s more meaningful that way Brian. That’s all I’m trying to say.

Bubba the only reason i responded to him was because he comes off in the past shaking my hand then stabs me in the back. A true piece of work if i ever saw one. Thanks . Kick ass in Krystals im rootin for ya! Rich Lefevre what i meant about not taking hat off to you was that you are pure talent and no need for me to do that.

Luther Brian’s site has its own flavor and apparently you haven’t been following his site too long. Brian does what Brian does and that’s his right, regardless. Whether you appreciate him or not, I am sure he works very hard on providing information as he sees fit.
