Klipsun Magazine has an article about Erik "The Red" Denmark focusing on his training techniques. He says he incurred a $5,000 credit card bill for competitive eating related travel in 2006 which took five years to pay off.

    I don’t need a break,  I chose to pay it off that way and spend my money on other things, like trips around the world, a house, furniture, tv’s, cars, lot’s of drugs, strippers, and steroids. I regret nothing. Cost of money, economics, learn it and you will be happy.

    Shea brothers make the dough . The rest make nothing except for prize money which of course goes to Joey Sonya Pat Bob and a scant few. Any idiot that shells out big money to travel just so they could say they had fun and rubbed elbows with the greats , has no life whatsoever. It is extremely sad when the names mentioned are considered legends of this world

    Really OJ, are you so democratic that you allow Gavonne to comment in such gross ways, and often Seiken’s comments should be disallowed as well. Actually that is an unfair remark in that it is your site, I have said this often about and to BS. Your site, your choice. But my opinion is that many of these comments keep people away and that is too bad considering all of the fine work and time you spend to make this “the” place to come for CE news.
