Kevin "LA Beast" Strahle bypassed the New Jersey curfew to visit filming sites for "Dirty Dancing". Despite the movie's Catskills setting, it was actually produced in Virginia and North Carolina. update The trip was started before the curfew was implemented.

Don’t try and start problems. Governor Murphy ordered the beginning of the curfew for 8pm Monday night March 16, 2020 to which I was already in Virginia at The Mountain Lake Lodge. I don’t have to explain myself to you or this site. I am well aware of the severity of the current pandemic and I’m not trying to put myself or anyone else in danger. I am currently home, social distancing myself, and obeying the current guidelines set out by the Governor. Everything I did in Virginia was done prior to any New Jersey guidelines being set. I was in another state to where I strictly abided by their rules and guidelines in relation to Covid-19. So for the record I did not bypass the New Jersey curfew and would like that removed from this post. Thank you.

For the past 15yrs OJ no life Rifkin has gotten all his info on competitive eating and anyone involved with comp eating from google searches , yet he is still immortalized by a few loyal assholes who in their mind think he is doing a great service to our community. Why he continues to keep this site going is beyond me. It’s quite obvious that very few visit this site based on the gap between comments which sometimes last as long as 48hrs.

Hey OJ how come when others ask you to revise or remove links which provide inaccurate info, you look the other way , yet with LA Beast the matter is taken care of within seconds of his request? Sounds like someone is real scared

For the past 15 years OJ has covered the world of competitive eating with posts, upcoming events, polls, those things are only one iota of what he has done. He is clearly very talented and dedicated. The two previous comments are from someone who simply does not like eatfeats, plain and simple. If that is the case, please go away, stop reading, stop commenting. Let’s thank OJ for eatfeats.

What browser are you using? All browsers I have tested work for me. Does the calendar page work?

Thank you, OJ. Without you, I wouldn’t be the competitive eater I am today

I am certain that many competitive eaters rely upon eatfeats for information and inspiration. Let’s continue to thank OJ so that he continues eatfeats. Without it, for me, the world of competitive eating would be nil.

812 well that just shows the sad state of affairs competitive eating is in right now and has been for years as far as publicity and social awareness if their only real means of publicity is eatfeats.com . This blog is barely visited with the exception of maybe 2 handfuls of amateur eaters or wannabe with primitive eating skills
