There was some good money at that meatball contest. Those eaters deserve to win ample money, just like MLE eaters do.

One observation I have is that over the last year or so both the # of MLE events and cumulative total purse money derived from them are decreasing, whereas both are increasing for AICE eaters. While MLE still has a few higher caliber eaters, if the aforementioned trend continues, things will even out a bit.

Three or four years ago, the only (what I would consider a) world class eater in the organization was Joe Menchetti, but now with Ian, Goose, and most recently Pete, there are at least four world class eaters versus the dozen or so in MLE. So even though there is still a disparity in the "balance of power," the gap is closing.

Bryan Miller, another IFOCE member, eating and winning in non ifoce contests.

Andrew Lane, Justin Mih and now Bryan Miller. Ifoce members are either jumping ship or just tired of no ifoce contests for them. Or both?

Saw those pictures from Myrtle Beach. Why is it some Nathan's contest had a two cup limit of water while Myrtle Beach seems to have 4, 5 and sometimes 6 cups of water for some eaters?

Just my observation from what these pictures show.
