Off topic, but Just looking at the money standings…I think it is a bit of a shame that Furious Pete with his talent has only won 6 K. The man is a top 6 eater in the country, lets get him paid for his ability.

Furious, I agree that Pete is up there with the top 6. You have to remember though, that he is in Canada, and has more difficulty getting to contests that most. He should defect to the US. I find it interesting to look at his average winnings per contest entered, versus Sonya’s. They are very close. I would imagine that if Pete were to go to the IFOCE, he would lower some other eaters winnings a little, but his average probably wouldn’t go up. And he might have to pay his own way to the contests.

I like the way lerman tries to play us for fools citing the management moses spin zone news dept. There is no management or news dept. His nephew edits the site for him and noone else. He averaged a comment or two when he blogged about competitive eating . He will averaage less than that with his political views. Maybe Rhonda Evans will comment out of pity .

This is Don Lerman speaking. I;m not trying to take anyone for a fool. I’m the sole editor on my site . I think up the topics . write the stories myself, I could ”Salt The Minds ” so to speak and make up reader names sand coments , thats not my style in time

let me exspand onmy last post I took alimo from my housw to jfk then an airplane to memphis then paid for a cab to the hotel then a cab the fair grounds a cab back to the hotel a cab to memphis airport and a limo waiting at jfk to take me home . and letsnot forget the lodging costs all for 21 burgers?… get real, sam vise won I salute him but dont make me out to be a medocore eater and a shmuck alltogether for spending $800 if I culd only have eatin 21. ryan nerz was the mc that day

Don your career best was 26 against Pat B and even that total was suspect. Do you realize you sound like an 8 yr old with your childish rants. People with bi polar disorder display that type of behavior. First you want charles hardy’s trophy from 2001 and now your’e throwing a temper tantrum because someone said that you only ate 21krystal burgers in 2004? What the hell is your problem?

Ryan Nerz wrote that book with 6 months under his belt as an IFOCE journalist. Who the hell is he to come up with non documented numbers questioning the great don lerman’s personal stats ? Don you sounded like an ass making a statement when the book first came out referring to it as a pulitzer prize prospect. Do you feel the same way now Don? Hmm ? Hmm? Hmm?

I”ll tell you , the ifoce really knows how to treat members like family. Don Lerman gives up not only eating but writing about competitive eating. BB.com on it’s way out at the end of the month. Black Widoe disgusted and humiliated fly’s away in a huff. I really need to get out a hanky and weep. I believe in pampering because everyone has to be babied once in awhile
