preparation for the nathans finals. Is that all she cares about? She should be going to school getting a real job maybe learn a trade of some sort maybe get married and start a family . Instead her entire life focus on Nathans Acccch a total disgrace

CE is a hobby for most. All the things you mention can be done alongside CE. And Miki has even made money which most competitors do not succeed in doing. If you want to make money, get a degree in fields which will make you money. There are no degrees in poker, by the way.

Funny you mention about no degrees in poker meanwhile many youngsters or oldsters are tearing up their associate , masters and doctorate degrees to play poker while earing 5 or 6 million playing the circuit during the year while you sit at a desk and grind 35k per year doing something you hate

Bottom line Miki Sudo lives eats and breaths competitive eating. She has no other hobbies or interests beside training for contests and talking about contests. She is pulling in a few bucks which is why it is so interesting to her. If i made 20k eating hot dogs at Nathans it would probably be interesting to me as well.

Nonsense about poker. Really?? Buy a lottery ticket. You will get the same results. You spent money.

245an and you dont spend money when traveling to an eating contest ? Airfare gas tolls? Same thing only difference is with poker or any other gambling venue you are investing that money with a chance you will win something getting a run for you money. You dont get the same knot in your stomach when traveling to an eating contest because the outcome will be the same You will lose to Chestnut Stonie or anyone else in the top 20 unless your primary goal is a free meal but traveling 3 to 500 miles to hold on to a ranking that means nothing or getting a free meal which you can get at an AYCE buffet makes little if any practical sense
