As incredibly impressive as her records and abilities are, I find it hard to believe she ate 25 pounds -20% of her body weight- in wings.

I’m not the doubting type (I even stood up for Kate Stelnick’s 11 pound burger feat), but I think this is an exaggeration.

Probably 25 lbs. pre-cooked weight. 12 cooked wings yield about 0.5 lbs of meat. 240 / 12 = 20 * 0.5 = 10 pounds of chicken meat. Still not a bad exhibition considering she did it over 2 hours, presumably waiting on wing refills and not having them all in front of her at once.

The wings at the place are 6-7 to a pound pre cook weight. Lots of these chains everywhere.

@Anon 10:50 Ah, that makes sense. The quote from Molly is quite misleading, then.

“Schuyler said this morning that she really pushed herself to break the record. She described the wings as “jumbo” and said six or seven of them weigh about a pound. She ate 25 pounds of the wings in two hours.”

Definitely implies they’ve been cooked. Thanks for clearing that up, though. 25lbs actual weight would just be silly! 😛

Doing the math, worst case scenario is 7 on a pound if they are smallish. That is 34 pounds. They are not going to lose nine pounds of weight during cooking and also if there was sauces added that is more weight.

Each Quaker State and Lube wing yields about half an ounce of meat after it is cooked. 240 wings amounts to 7.5 pounds of meat eaten. That’s a lot of food in 2 hours!

I love how people register multiple bogus fake names to get their statements on here and try to look legit.
