The woman is amazing. Had she signed that MLE slave contract, none of this would be possible, and when MLE goes into the slow season from Nov through Feb, Molly would be bored silly. You go girl!

Miki isnt even on Juliets level according to Sickens website a while back. I love it how this turd of a human being ate his words to the point of choking. Now he begs Sonya to beat Miki and that is another fatal mistake. Sonya is better off accepting the simple fact that she does not have the ability to defeat Miki or Cardboard Shell is some cases. Bitch boy Hank has to deal with an angry bitter venegeful Sonya at home. (It’s a wonderful life.) IP addresses will confirm that it was Hank who sent MLE the emails threatening to protest Nathans if Miki competed. It was Hank, his friends and family who launched the smear campaign against Miki, knowing very well Sonya would have tasted a very bitter defeat and lose the mustard belt forever.

  25. anonymous said

    September 10, 2013 @ 7:41 am

What’s the biggest beef here? Molly chose not to be in MLE. But did she burn any bridges with them? With the numbers of talented women now in the field who knows what the future holds? One thing I think is always funny here is that people say so and so will beat or would beat so and so when it is mostly likely that they will never ever compete against each other. Non MLE versus other orgs or independent. And even if they did, until it was done consistently, you cannot say who is best.

Wow! When you take a few steps back and look at CE in the grand scheme of things, one thing is very clear. Those who are up late at night or in the wee hours of the morning on a consistent basis, arguing vehemently and losing sleep about who can or cannot beat whom, or deducting who said what about whom, must not have much going for them in life.

CE is, at best, at pastime, or a pseudosport, that a few people follow, but when it elicits so many personal attacks by one or two people, then those who are on the attack probably haven’t had a good day in quite some time. How odd? I cannot understand why.

4:27 is either a great example of this, and, if what he says is correct about this elusive, secretive “Hank,” he has missed his calling and should be working in either cybersecurity or alongside “Long Island Medium” when that show returns later this year.

  28. anonymous said

Hold your horses there 427 . You have no actual proof Hank lives with Sonya or that he orchestrated the smear campaign against Miki. If they do live together i would bet they sleep in separate beds. You fail to mention that Mr Gavonne contacted Miki and George Shea on twitter informing them that sponsors are falling by the waist side one by one after it was brought to their attention about Miki;s rap sheet

Although the World Record for this feat was set by the great Cookie Jarvis who gobbled down one of the meat monsters in an unbelievable 7min 15 seconds to break the World Record previously set by Cincinnati Reds pitcher Frank Pastore in the 1970’s. The reason is obvious isn’t it Rhonda? It’s the anonymous culture of the website that denegrates every conversation. And you are just as much to blame if not more to blame than everyone else because you are anonymous too. OJ is anonymous, everyone who posts is anonymous, and you are anonymous. Talk about the kettle calling the pot black. Sure you have a name but no one knows whose talking or who you are talking to and no ever will because Rhonda Evans doesn’t exist. Without attaching a real name and real person to comments there will never be accountability or honesty to any of the gibberish comments meant to get a rise. Erik the Red there are some truths in what you write but think calling out Rhonda is not correct at all. You are an eater and as such you choose to identify yourself fully. Most eaters who work day jobs certainly do not hide the eating part from their employers. Rhonda appears to be a big fan and maybe her job has her not wishing to have her real name used. Tons of people use and make comments under monikers. One person monitors those comments, that is whoever is behind this website. That person knows the IP address of commenters though maybe some could hide behind something or other like OJ does. You are commenting here so you do read which tells me that even though you say you do not care, you are still reading and commenting. There must be something in this for you.

The so called deception and hate comes from people whether anonymous or not because that is how they choose to be as people. It has nothing to do with OJ. Rhonda is asking for a response from Erik. I think Erik has targeted the wrong person for criticism. It isn’t only a few people who are horrid to others but some are consistently horrid and breed hatred themselves. All of this playground childish immature commenting comes from the personalities of supposedly grown people. Yes, some may write things they might not write otherwise if they can be anonymous but some write with anonymous (like me) for maybe reasons similar to Rhonda. Rhonda is not anonymous, she is Rhonda, consistently commenting and a fan and giving this board lots of flavor and insights and opinions. When some attack family members of eaters or fans that is crossing lines which should never be crossed. But they do so to hurt, that is their main objective. They do so out of jealousy and all kinds of qualities Erik does not show. So Erik, keep coming back if you want to, it’s your choice. But do not blame Rhonda or anonymous. History shows that sometimes, when people wrote as themselves in response to misinformation or personal attacks, they only got more shit. A few people are relentless for the previous reasons and because they want this site shut down. They thought they were King before eatfeats came along. Now they hate that they are no longer the only game in town.

  42. anonymous said

You are dead wrong. The people that attack someone without posting their real names are cowards. There is not getting around it. A coward is a coward no matter how hard you try to make excuses for those people. If they had real balls they would email the person or persons they have the beef with and discuss it like a real man or woman in private . Instead , their primary objective is to have an audience so they can embarrass with the hope that others will jump on the bandwagon. If its not an advertisement of pure hate for everyone to witness , then whats the point ? Those kind of people are the lowest form of humanity

In response , they choose because they have an option given to them by this blog and the person that runs it. If they did not have that option and asked to provide ID etc, they would be backed in the corner like a rat and have no choice but to post their real identity. 98% would say the hell with it , its not worth it . CE will shortly reach it’s 15th year. Then we will see some retirements and / or health problems pop up. The over weight eaters and the eaters that look like they are packing on the pounds (you know who you are) should really think about packing it in. I’ll bet Eric Booker will sell the same number of earphones whether he eats or not. Guys like Hall Hunt, Shredder Goldstein, Monson and Chip Simpson are smart they got out when they did.

I mean competitive eating as we know it in popular culture. I guess the introduction of the Glutton Bowl and the first Gutbusters would serve as markers, since the concept of training for CE events was mentioned. Not sure about Monson, but Simpson probably trained very hard at the beginning to get to the almost 40 hotdog mark. For 8 or 9 years, Shredder only had a handful of contests. His hotdog numbers really hasn’t steadily improved so I doubt he trained as hard as 11:11 may imply. It’s definitely true that the younger cast push the training limits without any major concerns, yet.

Most of these eaters that claim they lost weight really lost very little. They wear 6X shirts in dark colors to make it appear they dropped weight. Once the shirt comes off all you see is tits and blubber

  77. Rhonda Evans said (Registered March 6, 2008)

Stay Tuned has an interesting point.

When organized CE first began (using the IFOCE / MLE as a standard, let’s say), it was more about fun and camaraderie (versus earning money). This was facilitated by most participants being from the NYC area. Purse money was minimal, but the cost to participate was low, given the close proximity of eaters to most events.

Since then, given the expansion of the IFOCE and CE both globally and internationally, prize money has markedly increased and travel costs have followed suit. Whereas a primary reason for participating in CE events 10-15 years was love of the “sport,” money has since replaced fun and camaraderie as the overwhelming incentive to participate.

Today, in pursuit of additional monies, the vast majority of participants will do what it takes to sharpen their skills. They practice on a frequent basis—-weekly, daily or somewhere in between—-consuming gargantuan amounts of food in each session. And a lot of the foods they practice with (e.g. HDBs. sweets, fried or greasy foods, and other fattening foods) are unhealthy, even in limited quantities.

Though we may not begin seeing the deleterious effects of all this consistent overeating on the human body for a few years, it is probable that a moderate degree of damage has already taken its toll. This damage is likely to be especially pronounced in those who have participated in overeating on a long-term, frequent basis. and they may not know the full extent of any health problems until it’s too late.

Let’s hope it’s not too late already.

I ate two 72 ounce sirloin steaks (with sides) live during the taping of the Donny and Marie show on April 27, 2000. They brought Carlene and me out at the beginning of the show for a brief conversation; then led us to a back room where we foundJeff Foxworthy and Randy Travis standing by our table. After Jeff made a couple of comments he started the timer and off we went in pursuit of our goals. We always had a camera pointed at us and were equipped with mini mìcrophones as they kept coming back to us during the show. It actually took about 50 minutes to complete the task but they wanted me to finish at the conclusion of the show.

Rhonda, it was. Carlene and I were very fortunate to be asked to participate in so many fun activities. It was totally unexpected every time producers called to ask us to be their guests. we did turn down producers of the Glutton Bowl in 2001 because they made it sound so tasteless. We also turned down producers of the Tonight Show when they wanted us to eat pies with our faces and look like fools. We accepted when they agreed to let us eat banana cream pies with spoons.
