Hey OJ why don’t you post something about seiken every now and then? From 2005 to 2008 65 % of the threads on here were BB.com related. Is your 5 yr grudge ever going to end?

She has good capacity and she has speed. It has nothing to do with replacing anyone. The problem is there are alot of people that just never tried competitive eating. 10 yrs ago you had the same people eating now there’s many new eaters. the bottom line just like in any other job -sport- or whatever you want to call it people get old for what they are doing and the new and young take over.. That’s just reality. Sonya was a great eater but you start slowing down eventually…. It happens to everyone..

Sonya was not better when she was younger. If you look at her numbers, they were lower back then. Only people who don’t look at statistics would suggest that beating Sonya today isn’t as good as beating her 10 years ago. Back then, she was pretty mediocre by today’s standards. 18 hot dogs? Pfft.
