This is off topic but i have to plug this. Pat Philbin was on Opie and Anthony this past friday. He made a surprise visit to the studio pulled down his pants and comedian Bob Kelly and his cellphone got a whiff of his horrendous ass . The cellphone stunk to high heaven and Kelly ended up throwing it out and chasing Pat. out of the studio. Pat took over the show as DJ in the last half hour plugging the nathans contest for a few seconds . classic radio. I will post that portion of the show on my site tommorow

Rich I thought that was a very interesting line they have going between you and Humble Bob. And I too would opt for the overs versus the unders. If Sonya is as intense as you say, she will probably be totally devastated if she doesn't eat OVER 40, let alone 38. But I don't know if she'll do 40, because she seems to have a tough time with that barrier. We'll see. You know Koby is going to be focused. But you never know. I'm still in shock, disbelief, whatever, about Joey eating 50. So perhaps much of my logic is out in the snow.

Those odds are really off base and there's a lot of money to be made by betting the overs for Joey, Koby and Sonya and the over on the previous record being surpassed (unless the hot dogs are way below par). They must think that Joey's total was a fluke and that Koby has maxed out. Boy, are they in for some surprises!

Keep in mind that the line is not set by the odds that Koby will win, but by how the Casino can get 50% potentiall payout for Koby and 50% against. If everyone bets on Joey the line will change to encourage betting on Koby to counterbalance their risk.

Then Bubba you stand to make some easy dough. The potential reward from your perspective clearly outweighs the risk, and if I felt as strongly as you do about that belt changing hands I would open me up a Pinnacle account and go for it. I wish you the best!

Even George Shea, in his Podcast interview predicted that Joey would beat Kobayashi. George went on to say that he is not allowed to bet, but if he were to bet he would go for Joey. Looks like opportunity knocking ... doesn't it?

They aren't giving alot of eaters enough credit. The odds on Joey winning should be much better than they are. I agree Kobayashi should be the favorite because he is the reigning champ and is an awesome eater but the odds should be closer than that.
