I cant compete if they kick me out of qualifier ….. let’s just say “guilty by association”

Kobayashi obviously would have done the best, only one who would have made it interesting. Miki Sudo and Molly Schuyler won their qualifiers. Why weren’t they at Coney on the fourth?

Seiken will never in this lifetime eat 25+, maybe 25 total in a season if he eats in 3 separate qualifiers

Molly has said she didn’t sign because competitive eating would interfere with her being a mom. Only MLE and Miki could tell you about that her bowing out and neither is talking

The wild-card also should have gone to Tom Gilbert. Anyone know why there were multiple great eaters who qualified who didn’t go to Coney on the fourth?

Everyone has a good reason why they didn’t go. Not sure why everybody has to beat this like a dead horse.

Every one knows what Miki Victoria did on 9/11 a few years ago, does that mean nothing to you all?

Maybe all these guys sat out so you assholes would have that much less to bitch about.

@molly: … because the collective IQ in this peanut gallery rivals that of a dead horse.

That’s BS, his own worst enemy. If Kobi unfriended him he had a very good reason to do so. Seiken just cannot help being Seiken, always inappropriate in the end.

I understand that for the first time seiken was visibly upset that kobi defrriended him

Miki is easily the most talented newcomer to competitive eating to come around since 2005, when future world #1 arrived on the scene—-and that is an understatement. Nothing apart from CE changes that.

She isn’t taking anything away from Sonya, Juliet, or any female eater. Nathan’s 2013 is done. She will be kicking the asses of many more men than women in the coming year(s).

I’m anxious to see her eat an array of different food types on multiple occasions, so I can see what she’s best at. Since she already ate 40 HDBs, I envision her being adept at lots of foods. Like Sonya (and Juliet), Miki will be a multidisciplined “food fighter” (using Koby’s term).

Thanks to Kobayashi for waking up and joining a long list of facebook users who can’t stand Brian Seiken.

446 first off that is the stupidest reason for someone not to sign and the shea brothers will never divulge any info to anyone except among themselves. To all the newbies in the sport young and old avoid any sentences that include l ????????? when you email them .because it is total waste of time on your part

Frankly, it’s no one’s business but their own as to why Miki and Molly didn’t participate. It’s a private / personal thing and everyone has a right to privacy.

There’s already too much information about other people’s lives floating around that people with too much time on their hands are gossiping about.

But its ok for shea to make stupid remarks about people without their consent when they are announced on stage for the sake of making someone look foolish

@843 so putting your family first before your own needs is stupid…. You are so ignorant I hope you don’t have any kids cause your comment shows what type of parent you would be

I know how this goes. It has nothing to do with liking or disliking a top competitor. It has everything to do with being tired of seeing the same faces at the top all the time. “Ho hum. Yawn. Good night. Wake me up when there’s a chance for a changing of the guard.”

That’s the case in both the men’s and women’s division. Old news is really an oxymoron, as old news isn’t news at all. I think it’s pretty much the same in any sport / form of sports entertainment for many people.

843 you make it sound as though you’re in a rock band touring the US and Europe for a year. Get a grip you’re not leaving your family to become a competitive eater
