That’s fairly accurate and pretty well stated SB. It comes down to basic values, which Legs and Tim both have. Their talent and recognisability are underpinned by reliability and loyalty. They’re fun-loving adults who act their ages; they can roll with the punches and 1-2 combination jabs that life might throw at them once in awhile.

They accept responsibility for their own lot in life.

and honestly if you want to be involved in some of the media, then you should ASK the Sheas directly and not complain here anonymously. How the hell are they supposed to know you’re interested? You signed up as an eater not on camera talent.

Me? I’m always interested in doing Media, but dont begrudge anyone who gets facetime on their own.

I think G Joe hits alot of the issues I was thinking. While it’s always nice to see other Eaters get a chance at exposure, I dont blame the Sheas for going with people you can count on. Lets face it, most of us are alitte bit crazy to even be involved in CE. With crazy comes all the baggage and unreliability that some of us have. I cant even imagine how many times the Sheas have been burned by these kind of things.

People fail to show up on time

People fail to show up because they are drunk

This is a mid-week promotion that is also mid day and in NYC. I’d go with CLC & X every time because they are willing to be flexible with their other commitments. They will be there early and do every interview, be relevant, engaging and funny. They each have some visual schtick and can eat.

Brian does have some creative chops and I think I would LOVE to see him do some color commentary on one of these packaged deals like the Spike show. Give him the mic backstage and ask some interesting questions of the Eaters before and after the contest of the Eaters. Have him at the table doing technique analysis.

Anyway, may you move lively as you step through that contract nonsigning doorway. … Should you follow through with that intention I don’t know if the IFOCE will ever recover.

And on a broader scale, can the economy stand the hit?

Say what you happen to be correct . The problem is simple. They would rather sign then starve. By not signing the contract you have taken the initiative. Will everyone follow suit? If enough troops abandon ship the commander in chief starts to panic.

Joe , i dont mind when you critisize my eating ability but when you question my my lack of credibility as an entertainer or virtually ignore it, thats where i have the problem with you. Not that your opinion means shit to me or anyone else but i have some experience behind the camera and im not referring to BB corner. I took up acting for a brief period when i was younger at the insistence of a close family member. Did i get anywhere with it ? Not really, I was considered for a few roles many years ago but nothing came about . It is a very cut throat tough biz. It was more about granting my grandfathers wish that i become an actor because acting does run in the family (abe vigoda for EX) My goal was to become an internist or a pro basketball player more than anything else, I know how to communicate with the public in front of a camera. I might not be the most eloquent speaker that ever graced the networks but i can carry a talk show for more than an hour where others would fold in 5 min. If you deny any of what i just mentioned , then its obvious that you live in state of denial and take great pleasure in slamming my credentials any way you see fit. You have no biz critiquing anyone. You have the right to your opinion but know very little about me and how my capabilities communicating with the general public. The only reason im responding to you and not the other assholes that post “Brian you suck your show stinks, wouldnt waste my time tuning in blah blah is because you speak and write with some intelligence . I would have to question that intelligence when it comes to your limited viewpoints on who is right and who is wrong for the media. Yes Crazy Legs and Tim are great for the roles. However if not for the Shea’s you probably would not see them appearing on natiional tv.nor anywhere for that mater. Legs and Janus without IFOCE would be getting more of the dont call us we;ll call you scenario . Not a knock on them personally but i know the business and even with the good looks and eloquent voices, without Shea communications as the hookup, they would be emailing their resumes and getting little in return, I have stressed on countless occasions that i myself can be convincing if called upon. You try writing 26 scripts for an internet talk show. See how far you get. Regardless of the content see how far you get before you decide to pack it in. And next time please allow me my props because you know damn well i deserve it,
