Smoke's Poutinerie in Hollywood, CA will hold a poutine eating contest on Saturday awarding a trip to Toronto and a spot in the amateur poutine eating contest before the MLE competition October 1.

    Same people showing up wasting their money except for Chestnut who’s been free rolling for years so they could mingle with other two faced losers in MLE. If i want to mingle ill go to a nearby bar or chat room instead of driving hundreds of miles and wasting gas for what?

    Pros get paid if they win, last year the amateurs won gift cards if they won.

    A contest with only three people would be ridiculous. Time to stop the broken record. Let eaters enjoy themselves without constantly being negative. Each person has a reason for participating. Weird that there are so many comments about poker. This is competitive eating, not competitive poker.

    i play poker once in awhile If you play long enough you will lose your shirt and that is a fact . It is impossible to beat the odds because they are not in your favor. The other stupid comments are coming from another source maybe Gavonne i don’t know and i don’t care .

    The top 2 amateurs from last year would be in the top 4 and 5 in the pro had they been let in . Dave “The Pit” Jefferson and John Step Daddy J Jugovic would have placed 4 th and 5 th , mayby 3 rd .

    The Gap between 2 nd and third was very large last year . They would be 4 and 5 , mayby 3 . There is a huge gap between 3 and 2 ..

    Speaking of Adam da bomb Leffler he retired from CE in 2005 right after the Carmines Meatball contest because he was disgusted with his performance . i believe it was the same contest Allen Goldstein was caught by Brian Subich tossing meatballs into an adjacent uneaten bowl . Leffler is doing well I believe he has a young infant son or daughter here is his FB page
