I am sorry I don’t have video or have not been updating my webpage as of late.

Many people think there is no prize for winning, and that used to be the case, but the prize structure was changed recently (my waiter didn’t even know this):

    1) Meal is free (valued at $45)
    2) Free t-shirt (and maybe a hat)

There is no time limit, and you only have to east the burger, bun, and lettuce. They don’t time you or keep any house record times. The toppings they bring to you (tomatoes, pickle, onions, and cheese cooked on burger) are optional, as are the four side dishes that come with this meal (there are five to choose from: cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, fries, garlic fries).

All the employees were very accommodating and the food was excellent, especially the cole slaw!

Also, they do not validate parking, though there is valet parking apparently. Metered parking is readily available for 30 minutes per $0.25, with a maximum of 2 hours, and is in effect until 6 PM weekdays. Not sure about weekends. I actually went over this maximum. There are side streets with no meters, but parking there is by residential permit only. And remember, do not jay walk in Walnut Creek, as they tend to enforce these kinds of infractions there.

Oh,and finally, there are video sources out there that say the meal is $30, but the restaurant actually raised the price recently to $45 (probably in anticipation of giving away more free meals due to the prize structure change?).

Hmmm, the tracker that displays the number of comments for this thread doesn’t seem to be working…

I thought the comments had been deleted, but was relieved to still see them there after clicking on the link.
