By posting this on his site he is bringing personal family issues into the arena which have no business being there in the first place. Lerman has ever right to post whatever he wants on his website but if he is expecting sympathy comments from everyone he might be in for a big letdown because there are some that that wont send a condolence if a human being passes let alone a dog. If Lerman's actual intention of posting that was a test just to see how many caring or sympathetic people there are out there, then i am sorry to say he might be wasting his time. Without sounding like a "wiseass" i think that his comment stating that he is devoting a jalapeno contest to the deceased family pet is unintentionally poking fun at the matter whether he realizes it or not. Let me be the first to address that issue. I think Larry is right on through the top 8 -- 6, 7, and 8 are Janus, LeFevre, and Booker. My own opinion -- and you know what is said about opinions -- is that Mr. Koch is way too high at # 9 and Pat Philbin and Hall Hunt should be higher than where they currently are. Anyway good job -- better than I could do I'm sure. It will be very interesting to see the contests involving Tim, Pat B, and Chip, because I think those three are essentially of equal talent.
