The organizer of a Wichita, KS funnel cake contest declared its victor the world champion due to being unable to find any other funnel cake contests on the internet.

    Those of us that did The Gtreat America contest know better.. Maybe the organizer doesnt know how to use a computer !!!!

    … it was pathetic i was there to watch….. made me cringe … i tried to argue with them about it but they didnt want to listen… kansas sucks

    Aice had a ‘fair food’ contest in 2006 that included funnel cake.

    It also had watermelon, corn dogs, & cotton candy.

    The contest was won by the original “Vac”, Mark Lyle.
