    IFOCE should enforce a rule that prohibits IFOCE members to attend or coerce with anyone associated with Wingbowl. I observed several IFOCE members embracing non IFOCE members and took pictures doing just that. I wont mention names because i have enough class not to get them in hot water

    Wing Kong, Steakbellie, USMale and others have commented here, and it is with great thanks that a follower comments as well. We know that upstanding people read and sometimes comment, and we know that the jealous and many more words seem to need to comment so frequently that people may think that they are the majority in thinking about competitive eating. Nothing could be farther from the truth. What they accomplish is to make people post as anonymous so that they can then say that that opinion does not count or stand up and say your name. Of course what usually follows is some bully or better not show up or eat shit and die, not very eloquent. This old rant that anonymous comments means nothing actually does mean nothing. Rhonda Evans continues in her persona and is again missed but I am sure that she will return. Isn’t it okay to change one’s opinion? In their attempts to bring down others, whether the take downers name themselves or not, they bring themselves down but never stop what eatfeats offers, and it is “a lot”.

    How ridiculous to think that there are rules of association. It’s a democracy, remember? On the field, be enemies even within your own organization or rather work to beat everyone. Off stage, in real life, make friends with those you want to be friends with regardless of organization just like people do in real life. There is no IFOCE Gulag or prison camp for “defectors”.

    2007 12th 1.75 lbs
    2008 8th 2.75 lbs
    2009 8th 2.89 lbs
    2010 7th 2,58 If he such a world beater in Wings why didn’t he dominate at least one of those events. Why? Because in Buffalo the judges do it right by weigh the wings.      Great job Super Squibb and The Bear! It was nice to see a race that close with two really nice guys at the top. The rest of the contestants could learn a thing or two for them.      his post is for Mike Yob and his comments about the winning Wing Bowl 21 Entourage. I was a part of his entourage and the construction US Male’s float. In addition I also was in Freak of Nature’s Entourage in Wing Bowl 18 and 19 and won Weachter Cup so I know what I am talking about. First could you post a worse picture of US Male’s Float? Do you even know the criteria behind the Weachter Cup for wing bowl? My guess is NO. Let me take the time here and educate you. . The Judges for the Weachter Cup are Rhea Hughes, Al Morganti, Joe Weachter, and crowd reaction. Also this year they had the Entourage Master Gentlemen Jerry input since he has won more Weachter Cup then anyone who competed in Wing Bowl. Next, Float theme. Entourage floats are supposed to have a Phildelphia sports tie in. US Male Float was a parody of Andrew Bynum’s injury while bowling keeping him from playing a single second of the 2013 Sixer’s season. Squibb’s float was about him representing the city of Philadelphia. So 1 point US Male . Floats are not to exceed 6ft by 6ft. Squibb float exceeded the dimensions US Male’s float did not. 2-0 for US Male. Floats are supposed to have a Mardi Gras style look. US Male YES Squibb NO! Another point for US Male. Incase you aren’t keeping score that is 3-0 for US Male. I think you’re getting the point. I could keep going but I don’t think I have to. I will although leave you with one more HUGE issue. At no point are floats allowed to be pulled by a GAS powered device. Squibb’s was being pulled by a golf cart. As per the 94WIP rules his float was immediately DQ’d.      Every year I come to this site to get an idea of what everyone on the inside is talking about after the big event. I was taken aback by some of these comments and stunned by some of the behavior that was deemed acceptable by the event itself. Based upon what I saw this is my opinion.

     Jonathan Super Squibb is a stand up guy. He was born at wingbowl 17 and he seems to stay true to the event and the morning show even after the position he was put in. He’s not here or on the radio making excuses for himself. He shook the winners hand, he even went as far as to call him “nice” and “a good guy”. He’s never about the attention and that speaks volumes about his character. I think Philly wanted their champion back. They wanted him back in the crown for a win for all of us. He didn’t cheat. He doesn’t try to invent ways to win. He goes in to Wells Fargo, eats his own food with no assistance from anyone or anything, and he gets the job done. In a crowd of participants catering to the negativity of hate for the rival cities and focus on athletes who couldn’t want anything more than to be traded out of here Squibb represented the city well. His float personified the good things about the city and that was nice to see for once. Rocky, our sports teams, cheesesteaks, the iconic images this city is known for nationally. From start to finish he was a class act. He made me proud to be represented by him. The loss was disappointing, but the fans didnt seem to mind. They chanted his name when he entered the arena and well after he left. Adorned in Super Squibb shirts they shook his hand, hugged him, gave pounds and high fives of approval assuring him he would “bring it home next year”. A true champion doesn’t need money, trips, or automobiles. They do it “for the love of the game”, they “do it for the fans”. As he walked out of that arena it was clear he still had the admiration of the fans. That alone should make him feel like a winner.

     Congratulations on your first place win Jamie “The Bear” McDonald. Enjoy your victory. As a Philly native I trust to see the crown back on you in 51 weeks Jinathan “Super” Squibb! Makes us proud again at Wing Bowl 22.

I give him that.. Seiken never boasted he can beat him in that food category but ill put money down that other IFOCE eaters will put him to shame which includes some of the mid ranked eaters. Look it up In 2007 he finished 12th in Buffalo behind the top names and eaters like Larue, Subich, Reeves Russ Keeler and Wild Bill 2008 he finished 8th behind Sonya Booker Juliet Keeler Reeves Subich & Brad Sciullo/ in 2009 5th behind Gravy , Flash, Pat & Sonya . 2010 7th. behind Sonya Joey, Beard, Badlands, Reeves & David Solomon. He figured IFOCE was making him look bad so he thought he would go back to a contest that always made him look good.. Competing in a rigged event that catered to locals .turned out to be a much better deal for him and finally a more profitable one

     I don’t eat. I watch the hot dog eating on espn and I go to WingBowl every year. I don’t know the rules, but I think if you are in a contest you should be eating by yourself. I can’t understand how anyone in any contest could ever be able to mess with a judging plate. It just seems wrong. I’ve never seen anyone have help in a pie eating contest, why with wings? No touching the eater, the wings, the plates, the table. THAT makes sense. How do they know she wasn’t putting the meat somewhere else? They don’t. Judging by Super Squibb’s face I’m guessing he never had to do that before and it didn’t look like The Bear had to either. Every eater should have to follow the same rules. That’s how real contests work. In every sport ever there’s either a first, second, and third or just first. How do you give a gold and bronze metal, but no silver? Makes NO sense. I don’t care if you’re and eater or you’re watching. It just doesn’t make sense. I can see why people are saying its fake. I can see why they’re mad. I think by splitting every body apart it didn’t really make for a good contest. I’d like to see it go back to armatures not pros.      540 pm Feb 10. This is not Seiken more like someone that has his best interests. Again misinformed with a one track mind . Lets retrace the Gavonne Seiken face to face saga. Seiken was suddenly confronted by Gavonne in Coney Island two years ago prior to the Nathans contest. Seiken chased him around the stage while the coward backpeddled while holding a cell phone camera in Seiken face and at the same time practically shitting in his pants out of fear . When the cops told him to leave or behave he found a hole somewhere and continued to watch the contest only to be stared down by Seiken to the point where the dirty low life couldnt even look Seiken in the eye. The second confrontation occurred at Citifield where he shows up at the last minute yelling obscenities from the crowd while having the luxury of police protection. Did you expect Seiken to jump off the stage while he’s competing and crack the guy in the mouth with police right there as eye witness? Would you put your job on the line and risk jail time for a piece of work like that? Im sure that was Gavonne plan from the get go but it didnt work. Since you are such a know it all badass. and you think an ass whipping of Seiken would be much too easy, why dont you put your fists where you mouth is and give it a shot.
