Wow. Look at the eater “from Italy” on the WLOCE. First off I guess WLOCE makes it appear you are a champion from whatever country you have ever had family live in. My family lived in Mexico for a few years, so maybe I could be the Mexican eating champ. Sweet! Sign me up for WLOCE as Ethan Duclos, the Mexican champ!
Also I already suspected they are trying to ride the coattails of the IFOCE (ex. “worldwide” ranking, using the letters WLOCE looks pretty similar to IFOCE), but on Gentleman Joe’s picture they have George Shea in the background with the trademark straw-hat!!! George Shea! I know he doesn’t want to be on that webpage helping promote that. We will see how long that picture lasts. Set your stopwatch now for George “Mount Vesuvius” Shea to blow up on Italy (aka eating champ from Italy) once again.
