Wrong link. The link there is just a general article about the Nathan’s contest. This is the Yasir Salem Muscle & Fitness article/interview http://www.muscleandfitness.com/athletes-celebrities/interviews/ironman-competitor-talks-training-nathans-hot-dog-eating-contest

Yasir is a great role model and a competitor. It’s amazing to see some eaters doing incredible endurance events as well. There aren’t many extremely overweight competitive eaters so those that promote fitness are an asset to our sport. Yes it is almost hypocritical because the competitive eating part of their lifestyle is not promoting good heahealthy values but if your going to indulge on occasion, may as well work hard to burn it off and look good.
