I’ve seen two reviews on the show and both are very positive and I think many of us that post on this sight will be surpirsed on the upside. You go girl!

Here is what I’l like to see. That the program is very successful and Suzilla wins all challenges in every episode so far and then in the last episode announcers ask over the loudspeakers “Is there no one out there who can beat this skinny girl eating? There’s a pause of about five seconds and then you hear the voice of George Shea saying something about an eater who is pure evil with a cloven tongue interrupted by AC-DC’s Hells Bells. I’d love to be there for that and to take a mug shot of Suzy’s face both before and after the contest. Now that would be the way to close out that series. Anyway Suzanne I hope the show is a big hit. If it is it would probably be good for all competitive eaters.

It’s really quite amazing how people believe anything on TV or printed, everyone so willing to accept the whole 4th best in the world thing. At least Adam Richman never said he was a competitive eater. Makes me wonder how many things in supposedly legit newspapers are totally false with no research done whatsoever.

I think Suzy and her producers now realize now that the whole fourth ranked thing was a mistake. New shows often have to retool when what they are doing isn’t working. All of the new promotional materials, except promo vids which were already in the can, were modified. I’d write it off to the show mistakenly listening to Dale Boone and his feeble attempt to get promotional value out of this show to his crappy, discredited WLOCE. I hope we see her future shows move further away from that ranking thing and any association with Boone. It does her no good. I have no problem with the “World Class Eater” claims. Heck my four year old niece can claim she’s a world class eater. As for the the whole “tiny girl can amazingly beat guys twice her size.” I guess Sonya and Juliet could view it as imitation being a form a flattery, except she’s not eating against the likes of Joey Chestnuts. Overall I still have to say the shows premise has it’s problems in that her focus on beating locals every week is a dead end and not going to attract viewers because the lack of mystery week in and week out. But, as for tonight I wish her luck. And, if it means anything I’ll even bet you Sonya wishes her the best and hopes they will meet someday. Suzy just better hope that it’s not at a eating competition.
