Squibb just called in and they shit all over him. That’s the way you treat your champion? Glad I’m not in it cause apparently if you win you’re still a looser to them.

Once a girl is entered they will hand pick her to take down the winner then cheat her out of the win the next year. Torres will be the next Sonya.

WIP just played out there “champion” on air. Apparently Squibb is scheduled to loose based on radio personality beliefs. I’ve always said that it was rigged and NOW I BELIEVE IT. Based on Angelo and Rhea comments they have already decided.

They brought Kobi in- big deal. He’ll win like everyone expects him to- then what? Who goes up against him next yr? No one. What- Wingador will come out of retirement again? Who cares? A Kobi victory is the end of Wingbowl as we know it. Say goodbye to it now cause no one will care next yr.

  6. Rhea said Wingbowl is fake said

They challenged Squibb saying he was boring & old news. He told them that’s what they said last yr. Rhea replied: “we lied”. What else are they lying about? The winners? She just admitted they pick & choose & decide.

As much WB success as El Wingador has had, and with him (given credit for) eating the second greated number of wings ever in WB history, just last year, it makes no sense putting lower odds on Chilita.

I’d have it with Super Squibb and Koby both at 2-1, just as they do, but I’d put Wingador at 3-1 and Chilita at about 9-2.

Though I think the girl does have a chance to win, it will be extremely difficult knocking off Squibb, Koby, and Bill.

Did any of you actually watch WB last year? Wingador damn near quit eating from halfway through the 2nd round and barely ate any wings at all in the last round. He’s a fraud. He should be the 100-1 instead of Rick the Manager!

It’s very clear who this years winner is. US Male!! If anything would prove that Wing Bowl is fixed it would be him winning!

Angelo is always complaining that he hates when people back to back to back win. Rhea saying the lie about their excitement for Squibb as the champ for ratings. The whole morning show talking crap about Squibb… Yeah I’m positive that they are going to put him to bed this year. That’s whack. MLE wouldn’t allow that type of champ bashing. Must be why it’s not sanctioned.

I love Squibb! He’s just an average guy with a gift. He gets up everyday and goes to work like the rest of us. I look forward to WingBowl like I do the superbowl. I watch and cheer in amazment. In the back of my head thinking – I could do that or wish I could. He doesn’t run around opening wing shacks, promoting sauces, or having exhibitions on rooftops during other events. He just goes in, does his best, and represents us average Joe’s. I’m pulling for him. Keep the win local Squibb and win it for the rest of us CE dreamers!!!

It’s amazing how one contest is full of 3 self absorbed gluttons who only concern is how much attention is brought their way. .I am not referring to Squibb and Stephanie

This kid is a wing legend! It’s a specialty. There’s technique, bones, cartilage, speed, cleaning… All things Kobi isn’t used to considering he doesn’t eat anything he can’t just swallow. Squibb has even said this is his superbowl. I’d like to see him kick the snot out of all of these guys, break the record again, and be the first ever in the history to 4peat. I like to see the local guy take it. It just prove that you don’t have to be “a pro” to win in CE against the big guys.

I like everything I ever heard about Jon. He sounds like a real stand up, blue-collar-type guy. I’d too like to see him win too in a fair contest, which WB is not, unfortunately, though I’m certain The Squibber is the best of all the locals, hands-down!

Having said that, and since Wing Bowl is not real competitive eating, Jon does have a shot at being the “official” winner over Koby, given WB rules. But if WB was a legit CE event, Koby would absolutely smoke the entire field.

Don’t think that Kobayashi is a one-, two-, or even 10-trick pony. Takeru Kobayashi is the elite of the elite in EVERY food. You can bet that he will enter the event having explored and mastered all the wing-eating technique(s) that serves him best.

Except for Joey Chestnut, Wing Bowl fans have never witnessed the caliber of a true CE superstar that they will see in Takeru Kobayashi.

But, again, in Wing Bowl, Jon certainly has a good chance to come out on top. As such, the way I understand it, he could take home both the car AND $20K AND the ring, supposedly worth $8K. That would make a NICE payday!
