Did you just refer to yourself in the 3rd person?

Cuz Spraymucus doesn’t like people who do that.

I want to start a trend of people referring to themselves in the second person, but I think that might be an impossible thing to do. . .

Though sometimes on eatfeats here anonymous people will have a strange conversation with themselves under various names. . .so that might count as referring to oneself in the second person. . .hmmmm. . .

Let me try to figure this out further.. . .So if I was trying to refer to myself in the second person, I would say something like “You like to refer to yourself in the second person”. The person I was talking to would say “no I don’t”. Then I should say “no, I was talking about myself”. But if I kept on referring to myself in the second person I was be forced to say “No, I was talking about yourself”. Then it would just go on forever. Who’s on first?

Kids, lesson for you, don’t drink in the middle of the day.

Referring to yourself in the second person is like those “choose-your-own-adventure” books I used to read in grade school.

If you’d like to eat a huge cheeseburger, turn to page 4.

If you’d like to eat a 4-lb sushi roll, turn to page 15.

Those books got old fast. It’s still easier to refer to oneself in the first, or third, person.

Can someone tell me how the qualifier works for this event?
In the first, second, or third person.
As in “you qualify whenever you want” or ” you qualify when they tell you to” or even “you need to eat 1 bowl for the qualifier”.
Cause maybe little Timmy wants to go to New York City for some Curry?

Yeah, the only books I know of actually written in second person are choose your own adventure or self help books. . .it’s very important, btw, to get life advice from some random struggling jerk of an “author”.

For the first contest, there were several qualifier dates (all ending in 0 or 5) in which entrants were timed eating a plate of curry. The five fastest times overall advanced to the finals. People can enter as many qualifiers as they like.

Please whatever you say dont insinuate that Don Lerman might give it another shot because he will appear on this site faster than a speeding bullet insisting he is retired.
