Is there a need to post this? The man is in enough hot water to begin with. Do you want to see him thrown out of the sport for good?

Well I guess that pretty much seals the deal on getting kicked out of the IFOCE for Joe. Congrats Joe, what was the prize for that contest?

The Shea Family don’t even have that kind of muscle anymore!

Jammin Joe continues to spit in the face of the Sheas. Now which other ranked eaters will join Joe.

I cant figure this out. When Boone was thrown out of the IFOCE for competing in dumplings, IFOCE media had big plans for him in the SPIKE chowdown shows. Same applies to Jammin Joe. I could see Seiken who has been blackballed from the media doing stuff like this but those names just mentioned basically threw it all away

He’s suspended from the ifoce. What’s he supposed to do? Sit on his hands while waiting to be reinstated? BS.

It is the same in both cases really except Joe is not an ass. Joe doesnt go around saying he was robbed at every event or act like a child. He seems like a nice guy actually. But these guys can out eat 90 percent of the people out there but if they stay with that other ten percent they do not make any money. Outside of corn Joe is not winning any majors and will be in the pack at best in other events. So why not get out there and win other events and be the man. I could be wrong though.

I think you are an ashole troublemaker for getting the guy in more hot water than he is already. There was no need to post this story unless you get off on stirring the pot which along with your headgames,is business as usual as far as your’e concerned

Sure I mean why would you post a story about an eating contest on this site after all.

seems like he is well liked by the Sheas. he gets ‘suspended’ from a contest that they know Bertolti is going too. then his suspension ends in time for him to compete in fishkill where the quality of eaters is way worse. looks like a total setup. look for Joe at coney after some questionable scoring.

It appears Joe has been removed from the IFOCE rankings and everybody ranked after him (29th) has moved up a spot, with the entrance of Richard Foley at 50.

Maybe this was the straw that broke the Shea’s back.

While I feel sorry for Joe, I don’t blame the Sheas whatsoever, but they do need to meter out the disciplinary actions fairly and more consistently.

Joe is better off where he’s at, as are most non-top 10 IFOCE eaters. He now has total freedom, can make more money, and can earn more publicity on his own, versus constantly being relegated to the back of the line for publicity opportunities.

It’s really the Shea’s loss, not Joe’s. Joe was much more of a personality than Richard Foley.
