    Kick ace!

A distribution of money down to 18th place would be nice though. A little extra reward for those that worked so hard to get to the table. And it might prevent anyone from pulling a Jed.

I agree. Anyone who can make it to the final table nowadays should be rewarded for their efforts. The way it is set up now, an eater could do 38 and still finish out of the money and that’s not right. They should have done like Krystal and paid down to 12th place or at the very least 10th place. The company would not have gone bankrupt by putting up another $5,000 for the other deserving eaters.

    From AICE website:

    6/9/07-Dr. Delicious Completes Medical School

Congratulations to Pat “Dr. Delicious” Bruss who just completed Medical school. Dr. Bruss, who just returned from the Amazon where he completed some medical work (I kid you not). Pat will start his residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo Ohio.

The “Delicious One” plans to attend the 2nd Annual World Rueben Eating Championship in Marshal Michigan on July 21st, 2007; Let’s hope he leaves his scalpel at home. Pat is an Eater who proves the hypothesis that there is a link between intelligence and competitive eating.

is this the same guy who won some random non-MLE wings contest? he is kicking butt!

are people allowed to compete in multiple eating organizations now? yes, it’s about time! congrats Pat on graduating too!

I’m still waiting for my 2nd box of hot dogs from last year’s qualifier, I didn’t know that qualifier winners got 2 boxes until I talked to “The Shredder” on the bus to Coney …I should’ve suspected something when I finished them off in a month! 😉

I love Kevin Ross- I don’t think you have that right. The bit about doing IFOCE events and also AICE and challenges, If you any AICE events you get banned from doing IFOCE. And MLE frowns upon the restaurant challenges.

I believe the great Juliet will take her Norfolk performance into New York on July Forth and snatch top prize money away from every one.
