Wing Bowl 14 sells out

WIP 610 has announced that the Wing Bowl has sold out in a little more than 24 hours despite the lack of previous competitors.

Update 10/26 11:26 pm philly.com has more information about Wing Bowl ticket sales (go to the bottom of the page). 18,000 tickets were sold, which is probably about the capacity for basketball or hockey.

The wing bowl has become a minor league event in the city of Brotherly Hate! It should be avoided at all costs as it is run by a couple of ignorant and corrupt morons.

If you put one ticket up for sale in an arena that holds 23,000. & someone buys it, technically speaking, its a sell out. That is close to being what appears to have happened for this version of Wing Bowl to have “sold-out”.
$5. is cheap enough that even people from Philly can afford it. If they budget it as beer money that is. This appears to go along the lines of ‘I created it… & I can kill it if I want to.’

    I don’t follow you ‘one ticket sold = a sell out’ analogy…
