    Stephanie, you have great enthusiasm for competitive eating. I am not sure whether or not your interest is to gain the attention of professional organizations. As an anonymous “friend”, if it is, I believe that other organizations’ members post here, but I doubt very much that the IFOCE/MLE ever reads eatfeats. If you want their attention, I suggest that you contact them directly and not believe everything you read here (including, I suppose, this post). To the best of my knowledge, that’s your best connection if you wish. You would not be able to go up against Sonya or Juliet or Larellmarie without participating in some sanctioned contest. It doesn’t mean that you have to sign with them, I think they would have to ask you to do so. So you could try it out first and see what you think. It would be great to have more women competing.

    I do commend Louisville for commenting here and making things clear. That is pretty unusual. They are to be commended for many reasons. Good Luck Stephanie in whatever you choose to do. Always keep your enthusiasm and positive outlook.
