NYPost reports that MarShon Brooks of the Brooklyn Nets will participate in the Nathan's finals (Stefan Bondy says he will judge). Brooks predicted that Sonya Thomas would upset Joey Chestnut even though they will not be competing in the same contest.

    The same people who are at Nathans year after year need to be banned. That includes Joey, Pat, Tim, Booker, Bob, Thomas, and Lee. It’s too boring! It’s like being stuck with leftovers night after night after night after night! I’d rather see new people who can only eat a dozen hot dogs rhan 3 or 5 dozen. I say implement a five year rule for people regarding the max number of successive appearances at the finals. This would make it much less boring. If it was less boring, maybe ESPN would televise it live. I’d rather watch Crif Dog live. That is sad, but it helps highlight my point.

    By the way, he made that comment out of boredom. When the soup has the same ingredients year after year all you can do for variety is stir it.

    If it’s so boring to you, then maybe you should go take a nap. All the names you mentioned EARN the right to be there year after year. So, what you’re saying is basically MLE should reward under performing eaters while punishing it’s stars? Gee, that seems like a good idea – in Waywacky World. And, whom pray tell among these 12-dog eaters should be there…. maybe someone like you? Just guessing.

    Why don’t they let Joey Chestnut choose who will compete against like they do when Takeru Kobayashi chooses his competitors at the Crap Dog Classless? In fact why don’t they let Joey choose how much money he can win. That would be interesting.

    Booker is on stage to promote his rap music which many of you refer to as “the dope” . Most of you are clueless and tasteless when it comes to listening to real music. If he making money selling his CD’s then more power to him and i wish him success but everytime he puts out a new cd it sounds like the previous one
