New Chinese star can eat almost 1 pound of rice

ChinaDaily reports on a Chinese contest winner:

All-you-can-eat buffet restaurant owners in Changsha, Hunan Province, worry when Zheng Guangshun arrives.

Zheng, 38, can eat at least 400 g of rice in a single sitting. He became a well-known figure in Hunan’s provincial capital after he ate 21 yuanxiao (sweet dumplings made of glutinous rice flour) in two minutes, followed by 10 big zongzi in three minutes, at an eating competition in 2005.

400g is .88 pounds. (I assume they meant 4000 g)

It has to be 10 pounds. The average person can eat 1 pound of rice easily

I’m going to Japan to be a star. I can eat two pounds of rice easily, but I’m not touching anyone’s zongzi
