Wing Bowl 17 Wing Off schedule announced

A list of 7 “Wing Off” qualifiers is available on 610WIP’s Wing Bowl 17 page. Winners of the Wing-Offs will receive a slot in the Wing Bowl. The first qualifier will take place tomorrow at PJ Whelihan’s in Maple Shade, New Jersey. The second Wing Off will take place at Paddywhack’s in Philadelphia on January 9. There will be 6 Wing Offs between January 9 and January 22. The Wing Offs will be co-hosted by former Eagle Hugh Douglas, so wearing a Terrell Owens jersey to the contest is probably not advisable. 😉

WIP needed 17 years, but it’s about time they finally decided to award slots to people who actually EAT WINGS.

The stunts this year have sucked and the Wing Bowl is going to lame.

THE ONE @ 10:39, WIP has been doing wing-offs for years, it is nothing new.

Damaging Doug – five sliders in five minutes? Why bother even doing the stunt – they obviously wanted him in. I guess my earlier question about previous competitors being allowed in, even though they competed in a sanctioned contest (a previous Wing Bowl), has been answered.

    WIP sucks!

Besides Damaging Doug, that dipshit Obi WIng is back in. Oh boy, the talent keeps coming. Wasn’t Damaging Doug once ranked by the AICE? This would make him ineligible for the Wing Bowl.

For this minor league event tp be sold out, the Wingettes must put on a heck of a show.

Wing Bowl is not sold out. WIP keeps about half the tickets for sponsors, advertisers and callers….most of whom do not use the tickets. This would explain why there was about 3,000-4,000 empty seats last year and should be even more this year.
