OddsCovers.com has a list of bets offered on the 2020 Nathan's finals. Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo remain the favorites. One of the wagers offered is PETA activists disrupting the competition. Betting against this proposition (bet $1400 to win $100) could be free money if the contest is held without spectators.

If any Nathan’s contest happens it won’t be for Miki.

With that logic, betting for Chestnut is also “free money”. And if he happens to get jawthritis day of, you’re risking 1100 to get 100. Someone could most definitely trespass on the venue and jump on stage. Trust me, I’m a doctor.

They are going to resume NBA and MLB next week with no fans so expect the Nathans finals to do the same

Who would compete with social distancing still in effect. NYC is way behind the rest of the country in opening up.

A virtual contest would be a nightmare to arrange. Every contestant would need an EMT for starters, a judge, it is just not a reasonable solution. The solution is just let it go this year.

Poker is online not the same as live but its the best they can do and they been doing it for years. MLE should do the same for now.

Hey 12:15 pm – the NBA & MLB are nowhere near to returning.

An economic proposal by the MLB to the Players Association still hasn’t been made. The NBA are still weighing return-to-play options. I guess when all you have are lies that’s all you can offer.

the mental torture of this nightmare is worse than the disease itself. There is only so many movies you can watch before going insane . Aside from hitting the gym and dining in AYCE restaurants , i cant stay cooped up inside because the politicians say so .. My fav restaurants offer take out and some even have curbside pickup. Just heard Peter Lugars steakhouse just started takeout which is a first for them

Do you social distance? Are you going to infect someone else? There are reasons to stay home. Politics has nothing to do with this disease or shouldn’t. Use curbside for your food. You can go to a gym, it is open? You are luckier than many. How do know which is worse. Have you had the disease? Look at the number of deaths and be grateful that you are healthy. Stay that way and we may have a Nathans next year.
